As a freelance pianist, Doug has had the good fortune of appearing professionally with James Moody, Dick Oatts, Charles Neville, Kristof Knoche, The New York Voices, Johanna Grüssner, Eivind Opsvik, and Dan Weiss. Influences on his playing include straight-ahead jazz, classical, gospel, Latin jazz, and the American songbook.
